I just want to say briefly, the sincerity and honesty that comes through in his songs bring tears to my eyes, especially the beautiful and heartfelt My Lady.

As always Johnny you are just remarkable. Certainly the Lord will look at you one day and tell you how proud He is of you and how you utilized the talents He blessed you with to speak to others about Him and His son. I am blessed to call you brother. You are a wonderful man, husband, father and you certainly leave us all in awe at the way you pick that guitar and bring to everyone who hears a promise of something special with your music. I love you and you have a great wife by the way and what the two of you share in all aspects of your life is a testimony to many. So glad to hear that the “Turning 30” was about someone celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary and not you trying to pretend you were 30 because then we would have to talk about the “2nd Anniversary” of “Turning 30” you were having…LOL….So proud of you and blessed to be a part of your family. Can’t wait to hear the rest….Kathy left me wanting more with her heartfelt compliments….Love ya’ll

Just listened to a couple of Johnny’s new songs “Let God Work It” and “Turning 30”. Love the lyrics and melody to “Let God Work It”. The message in the song is so for us all today and is delivered with an awesome voice and music. “Turning 30” is such a happy celebration song with catchy lyrics and melody that are still running through my mind now! Johnny never ceases to amaze me with his awesome musical talents! Looking forward to the new CD and hearing the rest of the songs!

David an I received the 1st copy hot off the press when Johnny and David surprised Joana an I by showing up in Kansas City as my military husband and I were on our way to Alaska ..our last duty station . This CD got us through to Canada and to Ft Wainwright Ak… So the song Letters From Home really hit home because after 5 overseas tours those are what you live for ..words from your beloved .. Also Turning 30 …every boyfriend , fiancé and husband should hear this song . For we are in covenant with each other and spending 30 yrs together should be as glorious a celebration as the day you stood before God and became one ..And the song My Lady is a testament of that covenant love …. And last but not least He Took Me As I Was … That pretty much sums it up …We don’t have to clean up for God for he takes us as we are ..and it ends with HEADED HOME … Praise God… This CD is a wonderful Country Music Testament of Johnny Herrings Love of Jesus Christ Our Lord an Savior.
